Fabric Flower Headband

About a year ago I started working on a fabric flower accessory line. These are a few examples of the headbands from the debut collection. Tulle, chiffon, taffeta, and organza were the types of fabrics used to create the flowers in a wide variety of colors. Bright, playful and fun, perfect for that little something special. This type of flower is based on a dahlia and can be made in multiple sizes and in all types of fabrics. These accessories can be made custom and are also being sold at La dee dah, a gift boutique located in downtown Menomonie, WI. More collections are soon to come along with a bridal line of wedding accessories.

Gerbera Daisy Bouquet

Cheerful, bold and bright are a few reasons why these flowers are so popular. They make you smile! This summer wedding was all about color, making gerbera daises a perfect floral choice. These being the brides favorite flower we went with a simple true hand tied bouquet of bright colored gerbs that complimented her attendants dress colors. Bear grass loops give a modern touch, add contrast and create a linear texture. Pure joy!

Orchid Corsages

Wrist corsages are very common for those attending your wedding who you would like to thank that day. Mom, grandma, and your personal attendant just to name a few. These wrist corsages are all made with orchids, a wonderful choice for a summer wedding. One, because they hold up to the heat extremely well and two, they come in a wide range of colors and varieties. These corsages I created on design wire give a more modern look and will contour to all wrist sizes. Designing each corsage unique to the wearer is showing attention to the smallest detail and in the end producing beautiful floral jewelry.

"Into the Light"

Digital collage art, something new for me! I love to play with textures, layers and abstraction, so this is a lot of fun. There will be much more to come.

Classic Bridal Bouquet

Red roses and white mini calla lilies set the tone for this simply classic wedding floral combination. "Black Magic" roses are a deeper, darker red rose they contrast so beautifully against the pure white mini calla. The gem rhinestones add just the right touch of glamour and give the stem wrap sparkle. Classy and elegant, stunning for that picture perfect moment.

Tablescape Floral Arrangments

Not only are these colors inspiring but the simple use of mono-botanical arrangements are classy and fresh. Orchids are one of my favorite flowers so seeing these more exotic blooms is pure joy. Tablescape arrangements can be achieved in many ways, using multiple different vessels of flowers or adding unique elements carried throughout your wedding theme.

Button Mum Pomander

Pomanders are contemporary, geometric, unique and so much fun. A few of the great things about these flower spheres is that they can be made out of many different types of flowers or materials and come in numerous size options. Adorable for a little flower girl to carry or a cluster of many made from fabric to really give a different feel to your decor. Extra bonus, after the ceremony bring them to the reception and you can use them twice but in different ways. Money savers are always a plus!

Personalized Attendants Bouquets

These three bridesmaids all wore dark navy dresses, but picked their own style of dress. In keeping with this personalized theme all the girls carried their own signature bouquet. Individual touches can be seen in the different stem wrap details, unique flower combinations and overall bouquet design. These little details can really make your bridesmaids feel so special.
